Terms of Business

In the case of a Credit Account, PAYMENT IS DUE WITHIN 15 DAYS OF STATEMENT DATE and that payment for goods delivered on a Cash On Delivery basis is due at time of delivery. Continuity of supply is dependant on adherence to these terms. In the event the buyers payment is overdue, Forteith Foodservice has the right to charge the buyer interest on all sums due in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 from the date of due payment until the date of actual payment including any period after the date of any judgement at a daily rate of 4% above the RBS PLC's base lending rate, then in force.

The buyer shall also indemnify Forteith Foodservice against all costs, including costs of instructing a debt recovery agency to recover a debt due to us and all associated expenses and losses incurred by Forteith Foodservice as a consequence of such failure or delay in payment.

Where a cheque is returned to us marked "refer to drawer" we shall charge a £50.00 fee payable.
